Mother's Day was my last post and it is now July, where has the time gone? Here is a quick catchup of some of the things that have been happening. May is  a big month for us - our wedding anniversary, mothers day and then my birthday. While in Canada we love watching the ice hockey and try to make it to a game. This year we went and watched the Kootenay Ice play Spokane. Apart from the usual work etc, this week Candice Stringhams portrait photography class commenced the taking of photos section. The first thing I have learnt is that I struggle with close-up posed photos. Saturday was ANZAC Day here in Australia. While having morning tea we watched the marches on TV. After the initial horror on Easter Day, we were able to enjoy some eggs. We were staying at South West Rocks and much to everyone's surprise, something beat Fletcher to his eggs - a mouse! We have had a bit of an unsettled week. Fletcher had his first day off school on Monday as he was still sick. He didn't like having a day off, worried he would miss the learning lol. Monday was a very exciting day for Fletcher - his first school excursion. We had a few days of rain before hand, so on the Sunday went looking for a pair of gumboots. Once again no scrapping done, we have had a very busy week with work and school activities.Fletcher's school had their annual concert on Tuesday and Wednesday night. This week was book week and for a kindy kid that is pretty exciting. All the boys and girls dressed up as their favourite book character and went in a parade on Tuesday. This weekend we have added a new member to our family - a fish. While Zac and I aren't big fans of pets - we go away too often - Fletcher learnt that everyone in his class had a pet except himself and he was very sad about it.
